My name is Ashley Schlieper, and I have worked with Carolina Parenting Solutions since 2009. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Elon University. I began with Carolina Parenting Solutions as an intern in graduate school at UNCC, and continued with the company upon graduation and obtaining full clinical licensure. Working with young children and their families is a passion of mine. The first few years of a child’s life is critical to their social, emotional, and physical development, and it is fulfilling for me to play a part in helping families find a healthy and happy attachment, while working directly with the children through play to improve their overall development.
My specialties include basic parenting support for common behavioral concerns, anxiety, autism, attachment and I am Level 4 Triple P certified. I am a very compassionate and caring professional, who gives every family I work with the utmost respect and unconditional kindness. I enjoy learning about the unique stories that each family holds, and using their strengths to improve the overall equilibrium within the family unit. My sense of humor allows me to really bond with children and families, while making it easy for young children to feel comfortable playing and building a trusting relationship.
In addition to working with Carolina Parenting Solutions, I am a mother myself, to 2 beautiful girls. My husband and I enjoy taking them and our two dogs on hikes, playing at parks, and spending time with those we love. Traveling is another passion we possess, and with family members that live all over the country, we get our fill! Thank you for taking the time to read about myself, and I look forward to meeting you and your family. God Bless!
