Tynill Jarmon Jones

I am a passionate therapist who truly believes that within every situation there is an opportunity for growth. I  enjoy facilitating that growth process, recognizing that each of my families has diverse needs as well as diverse strengths. Together we will build on those strengths in an effort to help your family achieve your treatment goals. My approach is eclectic recognizing there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a strong clinical background and an array of experience. I received a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University. I am one of the original therapists joining Carolina Parenting Solutions, PLLC, and have provided specialized training and support to my colleagues.  Through the administration of counseling services to children and families in schools, private practice and treatment centers , I recognized the importance of early intervention services. I view early intervention as a proactive as opposed to reactive approach. I am passionate about infant mental health. There are endless success stories and so many more stories to be told. I welcome the opportunity to help you write your story.

On a personal note, I am blessed to have a family of my own that is comprised of my husband, Michael and my daughter Michael Marie.  We are Charlotte implants that relocated from Maryland to experience the joys of Southern living

My philosphy in life can be summed up by a quote from George Washington Carver that reads, "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.
