I have fallen in love with the work and families that I feel so honored to work with at Carolina Parenting Solutions, PLLC.  If we get a chance to work with one another you can expect lots of hands on training, support, humor and resources that will allow you to feel more connected and understanding of your child. While my experience has been working with populations as young as infants to as old as 100, my passion, clinical strengths and commitment to psychotherapy shine when working with young children and their families. I believe true change and family enhancement can have the most positive results when therapy occurs in the home setting. I treat each of my clients as the experts on their children and family, while I see my role as a supporter and educator on creating change and teaching the family new ways to address difficult childhood milestones and behaviors.

I have practiced in a variety of settings from residential treatment facilities, intensive outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and community outpatient agencies. I have also provided individual, family and group therapy within the community and schools.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Quinnipiac University and my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work.

When I’m not busy providing interactive play and family therapy, I enjoy being outdoors, cooking and spending quality time with friends and family. I’m originally from New Jersey, but have been a proud North Carolinian for the past 3 years.
